DataServ's Timeline of Electronic Document Management LeadershipOct 1994 — DataServ founded. Dec 1994 — DataServ becomes first Software-as-a-Service for COLD technology. Apr 1995 — DataServ pioneers use of latest telecom technology (ISDN) to build a private Wide Area Network. Jun 1996 — Utilizes expertise in COLD to perfect matching and clean-up process for Imaging. Jan 1997 — Creates the first integration of COLD and Image documents in the same viewer with Knowledgeview. Sep 1998 — DataServ implements exception reporting, giving clients greater Quality Assurance. Dec 1999 — Partners converts and upgrades to provide completely browser-based delivery via the public internet. Mar 2000 — DataServ expands into specially designed Imaging Operations center, enhancing our Digital Mailroom capabilities. Jun 2000 — Acquires best-of-breed high-volume scanning and capture systems from InputAccel. Dec 2000 — Partners with EMC for high-volume, high availability, redundant storage. Sep 2001 — DataServ begins recycling shredded documents received from clients. All 2001 — DataServ continues to expand, adding clients across US and Canada. Jan 2002 — Provides management reporting sites to clients. Mar 2002 — DataServ begins offering Document-centric™ SaaS WorkFlow solutions for Purchase to Pay (P2P). Feb 2003 — Establishes formal program of continuous process improvement within Imaging Operations. Apr 2003 — Expands globally by serving US companies with international operations. Sep 2004 — Relocates to larger quarters with room to expand, and furher refines the Digital Mailroom facility. Oct 2004 — DataServ celebrates 10 years in business. Oct 2005 - DataServ adds generator for powering Digital Mailroom scanners in the event of a power outage or other emergency. Dec 2005 — DataServ creates a new Multi-tiered storage architecture to support our preventative data protection philosophy. Jun 2006 — DataServ introduces self-service security portal for user management. Jul 2007 — DataServ achieves SAS 70 certification. Sep 2008 — DataServ achieves EPA Waste Wise certification and recycles 78,000 pounds of paper post scanning in our Digital Mailroom.
Executive BiosJeff Haller - CEO/Managing Partner A native of St. Louis, Jeff has spent nearly 20 years in sales and marketing. His expertise spans consulting, information technology, and the telecom industry - all of which have had a direct impact on the unprecedented success of DataServ thus far. Haller is also active in the Technology Gateway Alliance, a volunteer organization that promotes St. Louis as a center for technology, and is Board President of the Foster and Adoptive Care Coalition, which supports families and children in the foster care process. Kathi Haller, CPA - Vice President of Client Service / CFO Kathi joined DataServ in 1999 as Vice President of Client Service and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to DataServ she spent 10 years in public accounting in the audit practice with Deloitte & Touche. In her progressively more responsible roles in the Audit practice, she served several Fortune 500 clients and gained experience in financial reporting and SEC compliance. As a Senior Manager, she gained an in-depth understanding of a variety of accounts payable, accounts receivable and human resource transaction cycles and document flows. David Berndt - VP/Chief Technical Officer Dave, DataServ's Vice President of Technology, has nearly 15 years of experience in the information systems and technology arena. Having begun his career in information technology with Andersen Consulting, he has a diverse systems expertise. Technical specialties include imaging, COLD / ERM and EDM, management, data-communications, midrange and mainframe computers, as well as systems design and programming.
