Working with large payables departments, DataServ found that AP clerks were responsible for transporting AP documents such as vendor invoices and expense reports between multiple locations across North America. These documents were often delayed or lost as they went through the various approval processes. In addition, there is no system for monitoring the existence and movement of these documents. By automating the flow of these AP documents through a Web-based application, DataServ was able to streamline the AP process while reducing the head count required to complete the tasks, allowing for concurrent access to documents and giving clients visibility and control of the payables process from beginning to end.
